A note on performance If you tried our RailBandit app for train schedules, you know how fast it is. New York Subway application is slower calculating the trips (especially trips involving two connections) because New York Subway is a very large system (consisting of 24 interconnected lines) with thousands of trains running around the clock, and this number is even greater during the peak hours. Depending on your phone, calculation can take between 20-30 seconds during the peak hours and even longer on older phones.
