Supported devices

RailBandit works on all BlackBerry phones with OS 4.3 or more recent. It also works on any Java J2ME phone (such as Nokia, Samsung, SonyEricsson and others) meeting our minimal phone requirements.

iPhone, Palm Pre and Android are currently not available

The application can be used on Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices. Please read more here about running it on Windows Mobile.

All versions of RailBandit have the capability to download additional available schedules from our server OTA (over-the air). If you do have a data plan, your best option is to download the "empty" version and then download any schedules you are going to use. You can also accomplish this by pointing your phone browser (aka "Go to URL") to railbandit.com/wap and selecting the right download.

Alternatively, you can download one of the applications listed below to your computer and use an Infrared, Bluetooth or Serial/USB cable to connect your phone to your PC and transfer the downloaded .jar file to your phone.

[ZIP File]	(BlackBerry Only) BlackBerry users who cannot download the program over-the-air or get an error during OTA installation can use this "empty" BlackBerry version of RailBandit with no schedules included. Connect the BlackBerry to your PC, and use BlackBerry Desktop Manager to install it. The download includes installation instructions.
[JAR File] Small size	(Everyone else) The "empty" version of RailBandit with no schedules included. When installed, download any available schedules directly to your phone over-the-air. Only for those who have a data plan with your mobile operator.
[JAR File] SF-BART	J2ME version for San Francisco BART The special version for San Francisco BART riders with all BART schedules included. Does not require a data plan.
[JAR File] Metro North	J2ME version for MTA Metro North The special version for MTA Metro North (New York) with all three schedules included. Does not require a data plan.
